My Grandpa is now rejoicing in heaven with the Lord that breathed life into him.  As tears stream down my face I think of the wonderful man who at 6'4" towered over my Grandma, traveled the world to spread the word of God, loved rhubarb pie, taught me the greatest card game ever created {skip-bo}, and always snuck food to the dogs under the table.  He spent his life in West Michigan, nicknamed my Grandma "Peter Rabbit" {she will forever be known as Pete}, and together they raised three fantastic kids {there's a wild streak in each of them to keep things interesting}, and I'm lucky enough to call one my dad.
I'm so grateful for the time that my family and I were able to spend with him over the Holidays, and that I had a moment to tell him goodbye.  Losing someone is never easy no matter the circumstances, but I know that he is in the best place and it's only a matter of time until we're all reunited.
