One of the fantastic parts of being in New York is that some really phenomenal things, people and in this case a stunning photography exhibit come through town. Karl Lagerfeld {designer, curator, photographer - among other things} assembled this collection of photos with former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld. Together, with the help of 109 models, socialites, celebrities and friends of the brand they brought to life a true classic with The Little Black Jacket.

I'll be honest, sometimes I feel like Karl stretches himself too thin and what he puts his name on isn't always indicative of his talent or his brand [hello Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's...}, this collection of photographs is not one of those projects. It represents the absolute core of what Chanel as a brand is all about, and expresses Coco's vision that Karl continues to re-imagine every season.
